Our Mission

The Heart of the Ozarks Half Marathon is the premier winter running event in Southern Missouri.  We feature a half marathon, a 10k, and a 2.5-mile Mindy's Run in Southern Missouri. The event benefits the West Plains Running Club, a charitable foundation aimed at promoting distance running among the youth in the West Plains, MO area.  We love running, and we love kids that run.  We are dedicated to encouraging kids to run.  That's the mission.
